UCSB’s Division of Student Affairs launches the RESILIENT LOVE series, and asks how we can respond ethnically and honorably to hate and violence. Featuring visiting artists and academics, it seeks to promote conversation and creative work that will forge a love-driven response to hate, hurt, and fear. Students, staff, faculty and community members are welcome to join.
RESILIENT LOVE IN A TIME OF HATE: A DISCUSSION
Please join poet and educator, Sunni Patterson, and Department Chair of Religious Studies at Connecticut College, David Kyuman Kim, in conversation with Professor of Sociology and Black Studies at UCSB, George Lipsitz, for an evening of Resilient Love. Help us kick-off the academic year in the spirit of strength and movement, in contrast to the current climate of hate.
