The fourth edition of the Eurovision PreParty Riga will be held on March 25, with tickets for the event now on sale.

Tickets for Eurovision PreParty Riga 2017 have gone on today as the date of the event is revealed. The fourth edition of the event will be held on March 25 and will be the first of a series of Eurovision promotional events held before the contest this May. The event which is being organised by OGAE Latvia will take place at the Crystal Club Concert Hall in Riga.

Tickets cost between 19 Euro per person and can be purchased here. Also on sale are five booths that can accommodate between four and six people each, these cost between 92 and 290 Euro each.

The theme of the 2017 event is the Culture of Ukraine. The names of the guest performers as well as the Eurovision participants attending the event will be named closer to event being held. In 2016 the following artists attended the event:

Belarus – Ivan

Bulgaria – Poli Genova

Estonia – Jüri Pootsmann

Israel – Hovi Star

Latvia – Justs

Malta – Ira Losco

Serbia – Sanja Vučić ZAA

Spain – Barei

Switzerland – Rykka

The event has grown over the four years it has been held from just three singers attending the first event in 2014 to ten artists in 2016. To date four Eurovision preview events have been announced, the dates and locations are as follows:

Eurovision PreParty Riga – Riga – March 25

London Eurovision Party – London – April 2

Eurovision in Concert – Melkweg – April 8

Eurovision Spain Preview Party – Madrid – April 15

A total of 43 countries are to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Returning to the Eurovision stage are Portugal and Romania who both took a year out from the contest. Bosnia & Herzegovina has however withdrawn from the contest due to financial difficulties at the national broadcaster, BHRT. The 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest is being held on the following dates:

Semi Final 1 – 9 May

Semi Final 2 – 11 May

Final – 13 May
