Bookkeeping/ Accountant (Financial Consultant)
£50,000 – £60,000 + Pension + Medical

HQ in Australia this global consultative and shared services business supports its worldwide client base, through the provision of training and business advice. Their new Cloud Accounting platform (based on Xerox) will support hundreds of businesses in the UK ranging from £1m – £10m space with some larger circa £500m T/O
Based in Warwick we’re looking for an experienced bookkeeper (10 years’ experience) to lead the Bookkeeping Shared Service team, including managing an offshore team, helping building high performing processes, and identify and implementing system optimisation opportunities.
JOB PROFILE
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Bookkeeping Shared Service Team through this exciting expansion and will be at the forefront of building high performance processes and implementing optimisation opportunities.
Be the key client contact point from a customer service and query perspective
Quality assurance and oversight of bookkeeping services, including:
o Review of all transnational processing
o Authorisation of creditor runs
o Review of bank reconciliations
o Review of payroll file
o Review of all compliance obligations
o Review of month end workbook
Provision of monthly management reporting to clients
Train, support and mentor the offshore team
Liaising with accounting teams to support their service delivery
Identify further opportunities for growth and improvement
Ensure processes and procedures are documented and maintained
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and execute across the team
Identify innovative systems opportunities, and build systems capability
Build relationships with system vendors to support client service
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED;
Ideally over 10 years’ experience as a bookkeeper
Must have formal qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping
To be Self-directed, highly motivated, reliable
Have experience with cloud accounting systems, including Xerox, MYOB, QuickBooks
