I'm delighted to introduce this lovely Plum Blossom journal to my line of Chiyogami Journals! "Chiyogami" is the name of this type of Japanese handmade paper that I used for the covers on the book. It was popular in the late 1800's as gift wrap in the royal court, and is still made by hand today!

This summer I had the once in a lifetime experience of appearing on Japanese reality TV to visit the factory where this type of paper is made. I even got to make some! Read all about it at : www.bit.ly/JapanShow1

Measurements: 4.5"x6"
Pages: 160 (front and back)

It has dense bookboard covers that won't warp even in the most humid of climates. It contains 160 pages of gorgeous speckled creamy filler paper that I'm so excited about! It's made by a family-owned paper mill called French Paper Co. in Michigan that makes only 100% recycled papers using earth-friendly hydro-electric power.

Photos don't do this gorgeous book justice, I promise you'll love it even more in real life. The colorful covers are made from layers of paint, and you can feel them under your fingertips.

This beautiful journal can have many uses, and makes a great gift for writers, artists, students, musicians, book lovers and anyone who appreciates gorgeous paper.
