Beautiful Early American Craftsman Era Stool
By the time we were united with this gorgeous rare Craftsman stool the seat was aged, dried and in disrepair. We chose SHAKER CHAIR TAPE for the seat. In the Shaker community, fabric tape was preferred over rush, wood splint, or cane because it is so functional. It does not dry out and break, nor does it pinch or snag clothing. It is stronger and longer lasting. We felt this heavy-duty 100% cotton canvas webbing was the best option to prolong the life and functionality of the stool. We used the best shaker tape made in the USA.
This seat holds not only historical value, it's easy on the eyes as well as an interesting piece of Americana. Despite its age, it is completely functional and ready to use.
