...is a beautiful and powerful tool for our transformation. Malas are ancient forms of bracelets and necklaces made with semi-precious stones, wood beads and seeds. Worn in contact with the skin and with clear intention, each mala possess specific qualities, super powers, that aid in meditation, prayer, protection and healing. I wear my malas daily, everywhere I go. Some are causal and playful, and others are elegant, but they all are reminders to me of what I am aspiring to create and become in my life.

This listing:
One (1) Custom Mala Necklace designed intuitively for you or as a gift for someone else. I create two designs of mala necklaces - you choose:
1. A traditional styled mala with the 108 beads for meditation, hand knotted (pearl knotted) in between each bead. Includes a clasp. Can be created in 3 styles: as infinity style, with pendant, or with tassel and guru bead.
2. A modern mala on stretch cord, which can be worn as a beautiful single string or double necklace, as well as a wrapped bracelet. Can be created in 3 styles: as infinity style, with pendant, or with tassel and guru bead.

Do you want it to be worn as a necklace only, or as a necklace and bracelet?
Do you want hand knotted on string or beaded on stretch cord?
Do you want the traditional number of beads, 108? (8 mm or 6 mm is best. 4 mm malas are short necklaces or double wrap bracelets).
Of these 3 styles, what do you desire: 1. infinity style 2. with focal pendant, or 3. with tassel and guru bead (choose 1)

Origin Story
Mala is the ancient Sanskrit language word for “garland.” Mala necklaces, believed to have originated in India in the 8th century BC., are ropes of beads used to assist in meditation and to count prayers. The use of Malas as a sacred tool spread across Asia, through the middle east in the form of the Arabic tisbih, and into Europe during the middle ages, where they were transformed into the sacred prayer beads of the Christian Church, the rosary.
Divine creation: I will create this mala while sitting in my cottage just a few feet form the ocean here in the north shore of Kauai. The mana of this land is powerful and sacred. Sea breezes blow through the open windows, bringing scents of salty air mixed with sweetness of tropical flowers, and carrying the sounds of waves and tropical birds. This will be infused Ha, the prana of Hawaii, and blessed with the Aloha spirit.
I will clear the energy of this bracelet with Reiki, and anoint it with my Sacred Oil.
