This is a beautiful organic shaped pendant and necklace that I handmade using one of my antique wax seals … many of which were left to me by my grandfather. Some I have collected over the years, and I do use some that are re-productions of antique wax seals.
This particular pendant is made from a reproduction of an antique seal of an anchor on an oxidized sterling silver satellite ball chain. Please note this is a stock photo, and due to the nature of the seals I use, each one will look slightly different. They are meant to look exactly like the old seals with which one would seal their letters in the days of old which were never perfect in shape, and sometimes may have indentations along the sides which are slight and do not effect the quality of the piece at all.
The pendant itself measures approximately 3/4" in diameter and the length of the chain with lobster clasp closure measures 17” in length. If you would like yours made longer, please email or convo me after you check out and I will do so. If you prefer a single or double leather cord or an oxidized (dark sterling silver) satellite ball chain, simple choose this option from the drop down menu on the right hand upper side of this page.

All of my wax seals and pendants are made of .999 pure silver. This is a higher quality than sterling silver which is .925 which is not completely silver, rather it is mixed with other alloys such as copper. What makes this particular silver so desirable is not only the quality, but it is also eco-friendly made of recycled silver.
I fire these pendants in my own kiln and later oxidize and polish them to enhance their beauty. In some instances, depending on the pendant or piece I am making, I will use a torch. However, I find that the kiln is more dependable and fires at an even temperature unlike a torch.
