WordCamp Pune is just around the corner. The WordPress community in Pune is quite excited for their upcoming WordPress event. WordCamp Pune 2017 is being organised on 15th January 2017, Sunday. This one-day event will be loaded with various presentations and sessions. These sessions and conference will be conducted by the industries experts. This informal event will include lots of fun oriented activities like Buddy Program, Photography Contest, Sponsor Bingo and Speaker Quiz to recreate and entertain the attendees.
WordCamp Pune 2017 will be conducted in 4 parallel tracks:
User – For individuals who use and work around WordPress
Developer – This track is for all the code poets!
Business – Who wants to start their own agency
Community – Who wants to contribute to the WordPress community.

Schedule:
Registration will begin at 9:00 AM. After registration, the campers will be served with light breakfast and coffee. In this time slot, the campers can develop their network and get an opportunity to meet WordPress lovers like them.
Next will be the sponsor’s introduction and bingo session. In this session, the attendees will get a deep insight into the sponsors. Along with this, they will play Bingo. Followed by this will be speaker quiz session.
Track 1: User
Room 1 – 1st Floor
The first session of this track will be jointly conducted by Kumar Abhirup and Rahul Bansal. Here in this first session, the attendees will come across the conversation between two most successful and prominent members of the community. In the first half, Abhirup will share his experience of using WordPress and in the second half, Rahul will conduct a Q&A session. In this session, the campers can ask any questions.
In the next session, Fairy Dharawat will tell the ways to improve the readability quotient. In this session, the speaker will introduce the campers to the tools to read and write better. Along with this, Fairy will cover the tips & tricks to enhance the reading speed. The speaker will end this session by sharing her professional journey. By attending this session, one can improve his/her writing as well as speak skills.
Next will be the Lunch Break + Networking session from 12:10 to 13:30. In this time slot, attendees could reload themselves with some delicious food.
Post lunch break, Sandeep Raman will conduct the session specifically for the users and the developers. In this conference, Sandeep will talk about the speed issue of the WordPress powered website. He will take campers through various smart strategies and tricks to improve the speed of the website. The speaker will end this session by giving quick tips to optimise WordPress website.
Next to this, Nancy Thanki will conduct her presentation on the “Let’s Encrypt” service. In this session, the speaker will cover all about Let’s Encrypt service. She will cover about how and why to use this service. Along with this, the campers will come across some practical examples that show what data can be stolen from the website, even if you are using an encrypted wifi connection.
In the next session, attendees could reload themselves with hot coffee/tea and some delicious snacks. This will be the 30 minutes High Tea Break from 15:00 to 15:30.
Post tea break will be the Open Conference Slot session. In this open space session, the campers can discuss anything about the WordPress. Alon with this, the attendees could ask any questions regarding WordPress.
Track 2: Developer
Room 2 – 1st Floor
Ashley Lam will discuss how one can communicate at Automattic. Through this session, the campers will get a detailed insight into “how P2 blogs are used internally, in the context of customer support”.
In the next session, Aleksander Kuczek will conduct his presentation basically for the users and plugin developers. In this session, the attendees will come to know the effective ways to use the new WordPress plugin directory.
Post tea break will be the Open Conference Slot session. In this open space session, the campers can discuss anything about the WordPress. Alon with this, the attendees could ask any questions regarding WordPress.
Track 3: Business
Room 3 – 2nd Floor
Vachan Kudmule will share some easy tips & tricks to start market place with the WooCommerce platform. In this session, the speaker will cover different topics including detailed introduction to WooCommerce platform, introduction to marketplace. Along with this, the speaker will tell the foolproof ways to setup the marketplace.
In the next session, Gajanan Sapate will teach campers about how to setup and track right KPIs for the business by using WordPress platform.
Next to this, the attendees will come across the Panel session. In this session, the attendees will come across the Products vs Services debate. Along with this, the campers will come across some model for businesses.
Track 4: Community
Seminar Hall – 2nd Floor
Utsav Singh Rathour will tell the attendees about reasons to attend a WordCamp. Along with this, the speaker will cover the benefits of contributing back to the WordPress platform.
In the next session, Amrit Israni will show the importance of culture in an organisation. Along with this, he will be sharing his view point about how culture plays important role in service and product based organisation.
Next tot this, Isabelle Garcia will footage of the documentary about “WordPress in India.” Along with this, the speaker will talk about VINUBIS Video Editor Plugin.
In the last session, the campers will come across Panel session. In this session, they will get an idea of career scope in WordPress for non-developers.
The day will end at 17:00 with the closing session. Followed by this will be the After Party session.
