With the return of self-service buffet lines, many restaurants have gotten back into the swing of things, offering the full scope of their feasts for the first time in ages. If you’re looking to make your grand return to buffets, but aren’t sure which place has the right spread for the occasion, then this is the list for you!
We’ll introduce you to the best buffets in Singapore, with a mix of hotel buffets and unorthodox picks. These are separated into three price points, so you can find the ideal buffet for your budget.
Do note that we’ve left out Japanese, Korean BBQ and dim sum buffets, as we have covered them extensively before.

While seafood buffets are usually the domain of lavish hotel restaurants, the affordably priced spread at TungLok Seafood is a great option if you’re not looking to break the bank.
Their a la carte Seafood Lunch Buffet starts from $43.80++, and offers delicacies including salmon sashimi, jellyfish with pomelo sauce, and deep-fried sea bass with soya sauce. There’s also free-flow dim sum and some mouthwatering Chilli Crab, limited to one serving per table.
The seafood buffets are only available at the Orchard Central and Paya Lebar Quarter Mall outlets.

The braised items are all superb: whether it be pig trotters or pork belly, their robust braising and savouriness make them perfect porridge companions. There’s also a decent selection of fresh seafood dishes, including dory fish and prawns.

If a dozen or so lok lok skewers is not enough for you, then head on down to a lok lok buffet such as A.K Zai Lok Lok. Carousel Restaurant at Royal Plaza is well known for their Mediterranean and Asian dishes, all of which are prepared in halal-certified kitchens. With their lavish spread of international food, it’s no surprise that they were awarded the Best Buffet Restaurant in Singapore at AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards for seven consecutive years.
For Japanese delights, you can try their teppanyaki specials, or go for their Japanese Cold Noodles, which stars Japanese green tea noodles served with house-made soba sauce.
