Ardara Dental was honoured as Best New Practice in Ireland at the Irish Dentistry Awards.

Dr Richard Morrison and his team picked up the award at a ceremony in Dublin’s Mansion House on Friday evening.

The popular Ardara-based dentist took to social media to announce the good news.

“We’ve just won Best New Practice in Ireland! Thanks to everyone who made this possible and to all our patients,” he said.

Now in their sixth year, the Irish Dentistry Awards recognise the efforts and achievements of dental teams across Ireland.

Leanna Ellis from the awards organisers FMC said: “It is always fantastic to see so many Irish practices coming forward to be recognised and rewarded. The progress made in the dental industry as a direct result of their passion and dedication has been tremendous.”

As well as winning the Best New Practice award, Ardara Dental was a finalist in two more categories, Most Attractive Practice and Best High Technology Practice. This is a great achievement for a practice which only opened last June.

Support

Dr Morrison is of course delighted that his innovative ideas have gone down so well. This recognition by the dental industry is a great honour. But it is the support of patients who travel from near and far that means most to the Ardara Dental team.

“It is great to have done it in the way that I wanted to and for people here to be happy with what we do,” said Dr Morrison.

The practice takes care of all dental needs, and caters for medical card and PRSI patients. It also specialises in cosmetic dentistry, an area in which Dr Morrison is vastly experienced. He has worked in top practices in America, France and the UK. But when it came to setting up on his own, Ardara topped the list of locations.

The Belfast native has strong links to Ardara and is very happy that his Front Street practice is going from strength to strength.
