1. BGI.com sold for $235,000
An upgrade from BGI-International.com, this is the home of a genomics company. “BGI was founded in 1999 as a nonprofit research organization. Over the years, BGI has grown into a multinational genomics company with significant global operations and a wide variety of next generation sequencing (NGS) services”. It’s the traffic leader for the week, with its Alexa rank near 1 million.
2. Toys.com.au sold for $63,897
No site resolves.
3. Rostrum.com sold for $43,600
An upgrade from RostrumRecords.com, which is where their acquisition redirects. “Rostrum Records is an independent music label based in both Los Angeles, CA and Pittsburgh, PA. Founded in 2003 by CEO Benjy Grinberg, Rostrum’s artist-centric approach to developing talent has resulted in the company becoming one of the most successful and innovative labels in the music industry.”
4. Payboost.com sold for $25,000
Per a Google translation of the French-language site, “Payboost offers a solution that accelerates receipts for socially challenged creditors: essential goods (water, electricity, etc.), social housing, internet service providers … Payboost is a subsidiary of Nova Veolia.” The site has an Alexa rank near 6 million.
5. Byways.com sold for $20,000
This was an upgrade from Byways.co.uk, but they also control other extensions such as .com.hk, .com.tr and more. “The Byways Group is a global company committed to supplying the highest quality labelling, ticketing and point of sale products required by retailers and manufacturers worldwide. “
6. Conavi.com sold for $18,000
The domain was needed as part of a rebrand from Colibri Technologies to Conavi Medical. They’re a “medical device company focused on providing image guidance technologies for minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures.” The site has an Alexa rank near 6.7 million.
7. NH2.com sold for $15,000
The company describes themselves as “We predict, invent and commercialise advanced materials through the identification and manipulation of compounds at the atomic scale.” It appears they used to be known as Nanoholdings, but rebranded to a shorter name. I like to see these CCC.com domains developed.
8. 9541.com sold for $14,140
Domain is parked.
9. Clothing.net sold for $10,900
This appears to be another domain for the folks behind the developed ClothesCheap.com, as that is where most the links are redirected.
10. BeautyCrew.com sold for $10,000
An upgrade from BeautyCrew.com.au, which is where the .com is redirected. “BEAUTYcrew is your ultimate go-to for the best buys, hottest celebrity and runway trends and easy how-tos.”
