Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manager – Business Development, the Business Development Representative (BDR) is an amazing opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in technology sales to Financial Services firms. The BDR will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect into assigned business accounts. The BDR will be trained on how to develop business opportunities over the telephone by leveraging marketing and advertising campaigns and proven methodologies. The BDR will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives at Financial Services firms about their business operations and regulatory compliance issues.

The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team. This position has advancement potential within the Sales organization, and the compensation package includes a competitive benefits package, salary and lucrative commission structure. Teamwork will be critical as the BDR will work closely with other members of the Sales Team.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Learn and execute proven processes to generate new business opportunities

Strategize with the Manager – Business Development and top-producing Sales Executives

Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts

Orchestrate discussions with senior execs around their business needs

Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects

Leverage tools to prospect into specific assigned accounts

Achieve/exceed weekly quotas on a consistent basis.

Perform all business development-related activities.

Develop strong internal working relationships with all functional areas within Docupace.

Maintain a high-level understanding of the prospect’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, and primary competitors.

Manage customer expectations throughout the business development process and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Provide detailed and accurate forecasting on current business development pipeline on a timely basis as required.

Compile information and data related to prospect interactions and record it in Salesforce CRM.

Education and Experience:

A demonstrated strong desire to learn and succeed in technology sales

2+ years sales or related business development experience is preferable, though not required.

High School diploma or GED required. Two or more years of college or equivalent work experience preferred.

B2B calling and selling experience.

Experience Inbound/Outbound Sales.

Salesforce CRM experience for Sales Reporting/Forecasting a plus.

Knowledge of the Financial Services industry a plus.
