Spitball is a small, fun ad agency located in Red Bank, NJ. We are seeking a Developer with extensive web development experience. Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript is mandatory. Our developer must be able to build Django based solutions (PHP experience being a huge plus in order to support the maintenance of Drupal and Wordpress installations already in place). As a creative agency, design is critical to our process and our developers must implement designs as they are conceived therefore front-end work is a requirement in this position. This also includes unique design solutions - such as parallax and others.
The developer will work within our team environment to see both creative and functional requirements through to completion. You will be expected to take sitemaps, technical requirements and designs and turn it into highly usable web/mobile websites for both site visitors and client admins where appropriate. Our projects vary from basic websites to CMSs to custom web apps. In addition you will be asked to work closely with the account and design teams to help frame out scopes of work and technical requirements at the outset of potential new projects. At times, there may be languages and/or technologies required based on client needs. Our developer will need to take the lead on securing solutions, whether in-house or through a third-service provider.
