This is to advise that a Special General Meeting of Members has been called for
7th May 2020 at 10:30 am
for the purpose of passing a special resolution to wind up the association due to insolvency, allocation of any surplus assets and to appoint an Administrator.
With the recent notification via the Dept. of Innovation and Skills, SA Government that they will not be re-funding us beyond our current funding, the organisation is unable to remain solvent. This process may be reversed if alternative funding is sourced in time but the organisation must commence this process immediately as per the Incorporations Act 1985.
Due to the social distancing restriction for the current Corona Virus pandemic the meeting will be held via Zoom Video conferencing.
To keep this manageable we encourage all members who would like to participate to:
Nominate a proxy for their vote on the attached form (print, complete, scan) and return to Johanna.milbank@dome.org.au before COB 30th April 2020.
