After all of the festivities in December, your hair has probably endured lots of styling so we think it's time to give your hair a much needed detox. When we do a little too much partying, we automatically know how to give our body a detox but what about our hair? Be sure to read on to find out our top tips on how to detox your hair for refreshed tresses in an instant...

HOW TO: DETOX YOUR HAIR #1

First of all, we think it's super helpful to invest in a deep cleansing shampoo to help kick start the detox process. Our go to cleansing shampoo is the Tigi S Factor Health Factor Shampoo, this little gem is full of nourishing goodness and is the perfect supplement to help refresh your tresses. The Tigi Health Factor shampoo works to remove product buildup that has accumulated and gives weak/limp locks the strength that they need to regain their health back.

Now, after all of the endless styling, pulling and brushing - your poor locks are bound to feel stressed out and feeling a little lack lustre after all the Christmas festivities. So, to give your hair some much needed loving and get it feeling healthy again the Tigi Bed Head Split End Mender spray is the perfect remedy to bring your locks back to life. The split end mender is designed to moisturise and repair split ends whilst preventing any more split ends from appearing again. The smoothing and detangling element work to make styling your hair much easier, too and leave your hair looking and feel super soft and sleek.

HOW TO: DETOX YOUR HAIR #3

Okay so if your hair is craving moisture (and tonnes of it), one of our go to hair products during a hair detox is of course, argan oil. The Osmo Berber Hair Treatment with Argan Oil, is one of our faves for when we need to revive our drab locks back to life and infuse some much needed moisture into them. This amazing hair treatment is infused with a special ingredient known as argan oil. Argan oil is rich in vitamin E and includes a UV filter which works to eliminate heat from damaging the hair, too. To use, simply distribute the treatment through damp hair and dry as normal for silky, salon worthy tresses.

HOW TO: DETOX YOUR HAIR #4

Dyeing your tresses also damages your hair too - if done way too often of course. So why not give your hair a break from the hair dye and try the Maria Nila Colour Refresh range? This ah-mazing range works to prolong your hair shade for up to 10 washes and the ingredients are 100% vegan friendly, too. You can be rest assured that your hair is getting the best of the best with Maria Nila Colour Refresh. The super nourishing masque works to infuse your hair with moisture whilst injecting some much need brightness to your tresses, all at the same time! Need we say more?! : )

HOW TO: DETOX YOUR HAIR #5

Whilst we’re on the subject of hair masks, our final tip is to smother your locks in goodness at least once a week to begin with (once you hair starts recovering you can change to once every other week etc). We cannot get enough of the  Tigi Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey Intense Nourishing Hair Mask. Not only does it promise to hydrate dry tresses and serve them with plenty of strength and moisture for a smooth finish, the oatmeal and honey fragrance will also leave your re-energised locks smelling heavenly, too! The Maria Nila Structure Repair Masque is also our hair saviour which works to give dry and damaged tresses an indulgent dose of moisture whilst the Colour Guard Complex makes this the perfect treat for stressed out dyed hair. Do we need to go on…? : )

Will you be giving your hair a detox? : )
