ABOUT THIS POSITION
Summary
The BI Application Administration provides business intelligence tools used by the enterprise. Handles upgrades, patches, add-ons, and licensing. Communicates with Enterprise Analysts and business users to identify needs and recommend tool usage for specific analytical use cases. Works with the IT infrastructure team to ensure that hardware meets BI tool requirements. Assists analysts and business users with tool utilization, and acts as an advocate for BI tool adoption. Helps users self-serve in the process of creating dashboards and reports.
Education/Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Predictive Analytics, or Marketing Research preferred. Other four year degrees will be considered for candidates with strong mathematic scores (verification required).
* Four or more years’ experience in data analysis working with relational databases.
* Two or more years’ experience administering a Business Intelligence technology currently utilized by the organization (Microstrategy, MS Analysis Services, SAS).
