Good afternoon,
Our EC2 instance has been successfully running for months, but now have the browser message "We're sorry, but something went wrong - The Phusion Passenger application server encountered an error while starting your web application. etc". We've seen this before and resolved successfully, but this time we have no root access via Putty (Network error: Connection timed out). Tried rebooting instance in Bitnami and also in Amazon, but no recovery was effected. Also cannot ping the static ip or the domain. We have a backup available to be restored but I cannot see that invoking this would assist any at the moment.
Hope you can help us on this, as the problem has contradictory elements and any advice on this would be most welcome.
