Currently Hiring: Sr. Cyber Security Engineer – Atlanta

BitPay is looking for a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer to focus on building out cyber security policies and procedures. You will be doing everything from setting up the policies about security on individual workstations to determine what tools we need to be using in their production systems to do IPS work. You will need a strong understanding and working experience with intrusion protection and intrusion detection. You will also be working with outside clients to perform audits, penetration testing, and making sure all environments are secure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the security procedures and best practices

• Perform security audits and penetration testing

• Troubleshooting skills with network and integration issues

• Intrusion protection (IPS) and detection (IDS), along with firewalls, proxy servers,

and log aggregation technology experience

Technology Experience:

• 5+ years of IT Security experience

• Proven experience with setting up a cyber-security environment

• Identify security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, computer systems,

applications and new technology initiatives.

• Develop, tests and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-

virus systems and software deployment tools

• Complex engineering analysis and support for firewalls, routers, networks and

operating systems

• Proven experience with cyber-attack investigations including:

o Memory collection and analysis tools

o Network traffic collection and analysis tools

o Sandboxing other dynamic malware analysis tools

o Static malware reverse engineering analysis

o Computer, forensic analysis, windows, Linux, Mac OS, and file systems

• Identify external client’s needs through participating in client discussions and

meetings and preparing concise and accurate documentation as needed.

Ideal Certifications:

• EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Ethical

Hacker (CEH), Global Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Information

Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
