Leaving law enforcement in 2015 was challenging. The challenge was going from a LEO to a full-time pastor. Different worlds, mindsets, and needs. I wrote my last traffic violation ticket on August 8, 2015, and by the end of August of that year, I was preaching my first sermon in Northern Ontario in a small Baptist church. Needing to think like a pastor, I sometimes thought like a peace officer.
