Witton Albion chairman Mark Harris has called for volunteers to come forward to help in any of the following areas.
Albion are looking for people with some experience of, or the willingness to help with:-
• Administration – looking for a football secretary and someone to act as secretary to the youth team
• Sales – selling advertising & sponsorship
• Ground maintenance – helping prepare the pitch, looking after repairs around the ground etc
• Match day – acting as stewards, gatemen/women, hospitality etc
• Grant funding
Harris said “All of the posts are voluntary and we’re not looking for anyone to dedicate their life to the club. We just need a few people to give a few hours a week to help us to plug the gaps our existing band of superb volunteers can’t cover and to help us make the infrastructure of the club solid enough to support the next phase of the club’s development.”
