These prosthetic pieces were created by sculpting with Monster Clay over a styrofoam head, then dabbing several layers of liquid latex over the top with a cosmetic sponge. Considering the vast difference of proportion in my head compared to the styrofoam head, the application process went pretty well.
Everything was painted with Ben Nye cream paints. (I would recommend mixing a small bit of castor oil in with the cream colors to make grease paint. It's much easier to apply over liquid latex than the creams, which I didn't learn until long after I did this makeup.)
This was the last of my daily makeup challenges back in July. I definitely want to revisit the challenge someday and see what more I can do.
