Bristol’s popular downtown watering-hole, Firefly Hollow Brewery was named the best brewery in Connecticut, according to Yelp. Yelper Brendan H. posted “Bring food, have a pizza delivered, or enjoy the rotating schedule of food trucks. You can bring your pooch as well.” and Yelper Anne C. posted “Firefly produces beers to fit almost every type of beer lover.” — just to name a few. While Bristol Rising is now long gone, many of their positive efforts and successes continue. Firefly Hollow Brewery in downtown Bristol is one of them. Since then, Firefly has been featured on NPR and in the New York Times.
