Founded in 1962, Udayana University has over 22,000 students annually on all three campus locations,with over 37 postgraduate programs. These programs are conducted at the Bukrit Jimharan Campus, and are designed to encourage knowledge and cultural exchange as well as path the way for sustainable solutions for the environment and local communities. The main academic aim is to create a general understanding of how the ocean is essential to our existence and that we are essential to help it survive all the dame that we have caused. Furthermore, we want to increase the perception of the projects that local communities have already established, among future scientists on one hand and we want students to be actively involved to develop them further.Short term summer programs (4 wks) in “Sustainability & Eco-Tourism”, and also “Intercultural Communication” are offered in July. Semester length programs (Summer & Winter) also available in “Tropical Biology & Marine Conservation, as well as “Sustainability & Eco-Tourism”. All courses are taught in English. Housing
Summer Terms: Housing is included, plus breakfast. Students stay in a modern Villa with pool.
Shared rooms (2 – 3 students share one room). Daily breakfast is provided. Welcome and Farewell dinner also provided.
Semester Terms: Housing is not included in price. Accommodations vary in cost, and high depend on student’s preferences. Basic accommodation with AC will start from approx $175 USD per month. Pay there for housing. Welcome and Farewell dinner is included.
Types of housing available for the Semester include: Villas or private house ($250 – $400 USD per month), Homestays cost $150 – $320 USD per month, Kos Kosan (local way) will cost approx $40 USD – $110 USD per month.
