In 1996, Michael Avenatti graduated the University of Pennsylvania with B.A. in political science and in 2000 he graduated first in class with a Juris Doctor the George Washington University Law School. Avenatti Award for Excellence in Pre-Trial and Trial Advocacy – which is an annual award for the graduates Juris Doctor. Currently, Michael Avenatti is representing the adult-film Actress Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against President 
Donald Trump. Michael Avenatti, in March 2018, filled a lawsuit in order to invalidate a non-disclosure agreement from 2016 between her and Donald Trump. This agreement it seems has been signed in the final days of the 2016 U.S. Presidential campaign. In this lawsuit, Michael published records showing multiple large payments, some from major corporations, into the bank account Cohen, used to pay Daniels.
