Marlen Boro chats with Jasser about how he switched from practicing corporate law to male boudoir photography and how he built this unique, niche business. He also talks about what type of clients he has and how he makes them feel comfortable in such a vulnerable situation by not only knowing himself well but by also knowing his clients.
BIO: Marlen Boro might be the preeminent male boudoir photographer in the world (granted, it’s not like there’s a ton of competition).
Regardless, he’s built a unique business photographing wealthy men who seek him out for his ability to create imagery that is beautiful, passionate, and authentic – photographs that frequently straddle the line between fine art and pornography. And his clients love them. Marlen’s home and studio are in Minneapolis, Minnesota but more frequently he’s shooting on location.
