As a self-described “neurohumorist”—one who researches the neurobiology of humor—Buxman is the author of a series of books focused on how professionals in a variety of fields can use humor to stay sane, maximize potential and increase their company’s bottom line. Thursday-Saturday: The Southern University College of Business hosts its second annual Advancing Leadership in Economic Development conference at the College of Business’ T.T. Allain Hall in Room 313 on Southern’s campus. Workshops run from 8:30 a.m to 5 p.m. on Friday, and from 8:30 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
