The Fall 2016 series of Science Mondays, free programs focusing on general science and regional environmental matters open to the public, has been announced.
Monday, September 26 – Rich Bizub, Director for Water Programs, Pinelands Preservation Alliance, on “Protecting Water in the New Jersey Pinelands.”
Monday, October 24 – Roundtable with representatives of the American Littoral Society and the NJ Audubon Society, on “The Interdependent Lives of Red Knots and Horseshoe Crabs & Efforts to Protect Both Species in the Delaware and Raritan Bays.”
November 28 – Greg Remaud, Deputy Director of the New York / New Jersey Baykeeper program, on “Protecting Liberty State Park from Private Development.”
All guest lectures will be held in the Warner Student Life Center; doors open at 6 PM and program begins at 6:30 PM. Light refreshments will be provided by the Sierra Club.
