One of the first towers to be built in Mermaid Beach will be crowned with two glass-wrapped sky ‘palaces’ offering views across the city and sea.

Located at The $88 million Naia project has unveiled its pair of two-level north-facing penthouses, each with its own private roof-top terrace and spa pool.

The penthouses will feature generous ceiling heights, walls of glass and large balconies.

Marketing agent Steven Chen, of The Agency, said the scale and finish of the 23rd level residences created a contemporary beach house vibe just metres from the city’s beachfront millionaire’s row, Hedges Avenue.

“One of the penthouses faces north-east and takes in spectacular views of the ocean, Surfers Paradise and surrounds,” Mr Chen said.

“The other takes in the Gold Coast hinterland, Nerang River and canal estates south to Burleigh Heads.

“Both exude laidback elegance while offering luxurious comfort and effortless functionality.”

Each penthouse has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, over 90sqm of outdoor area and three car parking spaces.

The kitchens feature stone benchtops, soft-close cabinetry, chrome sink mixer, zip tap, Gaggenau appliances, built-in steam oven, rangehood and fully integrated dishwasher.

The master bedrooms come with a walk-in wardrobe lined with built-in shelves and drawers, an ensuite with freestanding bath, and a private balcony.

Each penthouse offers more than 90sqm of external space, including a roof terrace and a north-facing balcony flowing from the open-plan living area.

The penthouses are priced from $2.5 million.

Released to the market in early January, Naia has achieved more than $15 million in sales and is expected to begin construction in the third quarter of 2018.

It will rise in the heart of a small residential enclave bordering Mermaid Beach and Broadbeach, and close to Pacific Fair, The Star Gold Coast and the G:link light rail.

Designed by architects TVS, Naia’s 97 apartments will be wrapped in a seaside-inspired design and will feature a rooftop residents’ lounge with a swimming pool.

Project manager Eastview (Australia), which has a decade-long history of project delivery on the Gold Coast, is overseeing Naia’s development.
