The number of positive coronavirus cases in Wiltshire rose by nine over the weekend, according to official figures.
Public Health England figures show that 1,337 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Friday (August 14) in Wiltshire, up from 1,330 the same time on Wednesday.
Figures from Public Health England show that 1,346 people have been confirmed as testing positive for coronavirus as of Sunday, August 16.
This is an increase from the number of confirmed cases on Friday (August 14) where the figures showed 1,337.
Wiltshire’s infection rate now stands at 269.2 cases per 100,000 people, a figure far below the national average of 488.9.
Wiltshire’s cases were among the 13,883 recorded across the South West, a figure which rose by 98 over the period.
Across the UK 318,484 people have now tested positive for Covid-19.
