As trainers, you probably already know that most New Years resolutions are abandoned by February.
One reason for that is that people set unreasonable resolutions and go all-in with a crazy amount of gusto and get burned out.
I’d like to offer a reasonable resolution to you: fill all of your classes in 2020.
Don’t try to run more sessions, instead focus on the sessions you are already doing and get more people in them. The great thing about this is that it doesn’t mean working more hours to make more money because you’re already running the sessions anyway with the numbers you’ve got now.
Here are 3 easy ways to fill your classes this year:
Engagement – Make sure the sessions you run are getting clients to engage with each other and you. Then after the session make sure you’re following up with 2 or 3 clients to see how the are feeling and how they liked the workout.
Achievement – At the end of the session, your clients are going to feel exhausted, make sure it’s the content kind of exhausted that comes from achieving something challenging by planning sessions that are doable for the whole group.
Variety – Most people coming to your sessions are looking for something stimulating, running the same sessions (or same types of sessions) week in, week out may yield great results, but will put off most of the general population. Make sure your sessions have plenty of new exercises, drills and games to keep people coming back.
All of these are things you can keep working on over the year in a very sustainable way.
This week is a great week for you because Energetic Education and I have bundled together some of our most useful workout planning tools and books that show you how to engage, create the feeling of achievement and gives you a ton of variety in drills and ideas. We’ve listed them at incredible prices to raise money for those affected by the Australian Bush Fires.
That means that you can save up to 80% on fantastic resources to help you grow your group fitness sessions this year, while also know that the money you spend is going to saving lives and providing food and support for those who are now homeless, scared and exhausted.
