Meet Cacie! She is one of our creative interns and is just adorable! She is an amazing photographer and a Lightroom queen. Cacie just moved to Arizona this summer from Minnesota. In her free time, she runs her own photography business called Cacie Carroll Photography. She’s super versatile in all her photo taking skills, but especially loves shooting weddings!
Where are you from and what brought you to Arizona?
I was born in Australia & raised in Minnesota. I came to AZ for the warmth and to venture out from my town to prove to everyone that I could do something life-changing on my own!
What is/was your major in college and why?
I’m studying communication because it’s so broad I can do just about anything with it!
If you weren’t living in Arizona, where would you like to live?
Minnesota! Now that i’ve gotten to experience a little bit of Arizona, it has made me realize all the wonderful things about Minnesota that I forgot about! Back home, I have all my friends and family, crisp fall leaves, snow to catch on my tongue, and a reason to always look like a stuffed sausage without anybody judging me!
What’s your most used hashtag on Instagram?
#caciecarrollphotography when I’m on my photography Instagram account! I don’t really use a ton of hashtags on my personal page. P.S. Everyone should go follow CCP!
Describe your dream job.
Full-time traveling wedding photographer. I love everything about the wedding industry so when I start traveling to Paris, and Barcelona for weddings, I will be able to die happy!!
What do you love best about working for Bloguettes?
Everyone is SO crazy creative. It’s fun to get a different perspective about all things new & innovative. I also adore the interns, they laugh at my horrible jokes and encourage me to always be inspired by the things around me.
Which types of blogs do you like best, and who are your favorite bloggers?
Duhhh, wedding blogs! My favorites are Katelyn James, Zach & Jody, Melissa Jill, Amy & Jordan, and Jasmine Star. They’re all uber amazing photographers who offer mentoring sessions and tons of free, downloadable goodies that continue to help me grow my business!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love photography! I try to stay busy with senior portraits, couples, engagements, and anniversary sessions of some type so I can continue to learn & grow as a small business owner.
Describe your personal style.
Laid back, Mid-western and comfortable. I don’t necessarily look at fashion blogs in my free time so I’m a mix & match type of girl.
What’s your favorite social media channel and why?
That’s a toughy! It’s between Instagram & Facebook. I know Facebook is really old, but I’ve managed to weed out all the dramatic people from my friends list, and now I thoroughly enjoy reading what my family and friends are up to back home! Instagram is always a favorite, though. I am totally a visual person, so Instagram is right up my ally!
What’s your hidden talent?
I can make milk come out of my eye if I snort it up my nose…
