2nd September – Keanu Reeves
Who doesn’t know this famous Canadian actor? What you probably didn’t know was that he was born in Lebanon! Most people will know him from the futuristic Matrix movie trilogy in which he starred as the main character Neo. But those aren’t the only blockbusters Keanu has starred in during his time in Hollywood. He also had great roles in The Devil’s Advocate with Al Pacino and in 1994 he appeared in the heart-pounding movie Speed together with Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper. More recent successful blockbusters in which Keanu had a role where 47 Ronin (2013) and the action thriller John Wick (2014), in which he plays an ex-assassin that goes after the people that took everything away from him.

9th September – Adam Sandler
Early in his career Sandler worked as a writer for Saturday Night Live and a just a year later he was in front of the camera performing songs and creating classic characters on the show. After his stint at SNL, he appeared in various comedy films including Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Mr. Deeds and Click, which co-starred Kate Beckinsale and Christopher Walken. His most recent work is the action comedy movie Pixels in which he plays the role of Sam Brenner, a former Pac-Man champion, who is hired by the US government to defend the country after aliens misinterpret video-feeds  classic arcade games as a declaration of war. Adam is co-stars with Kevin James, who you probably know from the TV show The King of Queens and movies like Hitch with Will Smith. Pixels is in theatres now, but if you follow it using Movies Coming Soon within the Roku Feed you will get a notification once it becomes available for streaming

15th September – Tom Hardy
This 37-year old British actor has an impressive list of movie and TV show credits already. His debut was in the TV show Band of Brothers and shortly after he appeared in his first movie: Black Hawk Down. Not a bad start for an actor! Later, he appeared in movies like the British crime thriller Layer Cake together with Daniel Craig and played the role of British conman Eames in Inception. Recently he appeared as Leo Demidov in Child 44, a politically-charged serial killer thriller set in 1953 Soviet Russia as a secret police agent who loses status, power and home when he refuses to denounce his own wife as a traitor. 19th September – Jimmy Fallon
Similar to Adam Sandler, Fallon had his career breakthrough on Saturday Night Live with impressions of Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and even Sandler. After a few years of hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC, he took over the prized seat as host of the Tonight Show where you can watch him take the helm of the world’s longest-running talk show every day! Between Saturday Night Live and returning to TV with The Tonight Show, Fallon has played various roles in movies such as Taxi, Fever Pitch and the sports comedy drama Whip It that was directed by Drew Barrymore.

23rd September – Jason Alexander
You probably best know this actor as George Costanza, but that is not his real name. Nor is Jason Alexander, because his real name is Jay Scott Greenspan. Although his brilliant character in Seinfeld is his most well known role, he has also appeared in more than 50 movies! Did you know that he appeared as villain Philip Stuckey in Pretty Woman co-starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts? Or that he was the voice of Hugo, the friend of Quasimodo in Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame? Try searching for his name on your Roku player or Roku TV, you might be surprised to see the many movies and TV shows he has appeared! And if you just want to watch him as George Costanza, then check out Hulu – the entire Seinfeld series is now available to stream!
