Since fall has finally, uh…fallen (sorry), we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the great coffee drinks at our shops that remind us of the amazing flavors of this time of year.

First off, there’s this one coffee place called Starbucks – you might have seen it around. We don’t have these guys on CUPS quite yet, but they have this famous Pumpkin Spice Latte that is basically all we drink this time of year. It’s crazy that more people don’t know about this.

…okay, just kidding. There’s way more to fall than just pumpkin flavoring and mysterious spices (although several shops below do have great pumpkin spice drinks) – the real list is below.

DISCLAIMER: Not all of these drinks can be purchased with CUPS.

NEW YORK

Adventure Cafe – Maple Latte, Pumpkin Spice Latte

(Lower East Side)

Since they’re right around the corner from CUPS HQ, we have a lot of love for Adventure Cafe, and both of these new drinks are very on point.

Konditori – Maple Cappuccino, Autumn Flavors Latte

(Lower East Side, Prospect Heights, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Boerum Hill)

Konditori always brings it, and both of these drinks really capture what we look for in a fancy fall coffee.

AP Cafe – Hot Cocoa, Vanilla Latte, Hazelnut Latte

(Bushwick)

When we imagine the perfect fall day, it definitely involves some hot cocoa from AP Cafe. If that’s not your thing, their lattes are phenomenal as well.

12 Corners – Pumpkin Pie Latte

(Chinatown 1, Chinatown 2)

Everybody loves pumpkin pie, but did you know it’s even better in liquid form? This drink is basically dessert in a cup. Yummmmmm.

Madman Espresso – Sarabella

(Hell’s Kitchen, Flatirons, Greenwich Village, Midtown West, East Village)

Technically this sweet (but not overly so) specialty latte is available year round, but the fall is definitely its time to shine. Try it with a dash of cinnamon and some honey. Trust us.

Terremoto – Winter Rose Latte

(Chelsea)

Maybe it’s a little early to start talking about Winter Rose anything, but we’re big fans of this drink. Give it a shot.

Petite Shell – Nutella Latte

(Upper East Side)

Nutella is delicious any time of year, but there’s no time like autumn for Nutella drinks (there are several more below, too).

Beaner Bar – Various Drinks

(Williamsburg)

Beaner Bar has a fully stacked fall menu that could keep us happy for a full week of trying new things! Highlights include The Great Pumpkin, which is a chocolate-tinged twist on the standard Pumpkin Spice Latte, plus killer Hot Cider, and several inventive tea lattes.

Kobrick – Loca Mocha

(Chelsea)

Ok, you definitely can’t get this on CUPS, because it’s a cocktail. That said, this boozy milkshake is where it’s at, and how could you not want to pair it with one or two of those cookies? This is a cold drink, which should help you ease through the transition into the chilly weather that’s coming soon.

Little Zelda – Maple Latte

(Crown Heights)

We LOVE Little Zelda, and their Maple Latte is syrupy and delicious in the best way.

Woops! BakeShop – Apple Cider

(TriBeCa, Upper East Side, Williamsburg, Murray Hill, South Slope)

This isn’t even coffee, but you can get it on CUPS. You need some apple cider in your life this time of year.

Yours Truly – Mr. Sweet Tooth, Milkadamia

(SoHo)

Although it’s available all year long, Yours Truly’s Mr. Sweet Tooth, made with almond milk and almond caramel pecan, screams autumn to us. They also recently started using Milkadamia, which you can add to whatever drink you want for a little dash of fall flavor.

Bushwick Grind – Apple Cider Tea, Hot Chocolate

(Bushwick)

Bushwick Grind has a lot of fall options, including Apple Cider Tea (and also regular Apple Cider), plus smile-inducing Hot Chocolate and a selection of lattes.

The Bean – Nutella Fitzgerald

(Williamsburg, Greenwich Village, East Village 1, East Village 2)

This one’s super popular and available all year round, but give it a shot if you haven’t already. As we’ve already mentioned, Nutella is crucial to surviving autumn.

Honey Haus – Nutella Latte, Caramel Latte

(East Village)

The ultimate latte debacle at Honey Haus – do you choose caramel or Nutella? Always a tough decision.

The West – Maple Latte

(Williamsburg)

The West’s chill coffee shop/bar setup is great, as is this drink. They have some fantastic cocktails for this time of year too, if you’re there after hours, and they make a great hot toddy.

Blank Slate – Hot Cider, Pumpkin Beer

(Nomad)

We love Blank Slate for many reasons, and their Hot Cider is definitely one of them. If you’re in bar mode, they’ve also got some pumpkin beer on tap that will blow your mind.

Spreadhouse – Peppermint Mocha

(Lower East Side)

Maybe peppermint is more of a winter thing, but we don’t care. This will turn your life around on a chilly day.

PHILADELPHIA

Rally Coffee – Maple Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Chai, Pumpkin Spice Latte

(Bella Vista)

Rally has all the bases covered with the three seasonal drinks they just unveiled. Someone needs to try getting both lattes and mixing them together, Arnold Palmer style.

Gryphon Cafe – Pumpkin Spice EVERYTHING

(Kensington)

Gryphon’s kitchen as whipped up some homemade pumpkin spice syrup, made with real pumpkins, and they can really put it in anything. The only limit is your imagination. Whatever you come up with will go perfectly with the meal pictured above.

P.S.&Co – Chocolate Hazelnut Smoothie, Sweet Potato Smoothie

(Rittenhouse Square)

Although they don’t have any seasonal coffee drinks just yet, P.S.&Co has several fall smoothies including a sweet potato one (might sound strange, but it’s delish) and a chocolate hazelnut. Homemade Nutella in drink form? Yes, please.

OCF Coffee House – Pumpkin Spice Drinks, Apple Cider

(University City, Point Breeze, Rittenhouse Square, Fairmount)

As with many shops, OCF has pumpkin spice syrup and will put it into any drink you want. They also have some amazing apple cider.

Puddin’s Cake Corner – Pumpkin Pie Latte, Caramel Pecan Latte

(Tacony)

In between making incredible cakes, Puddin’s has found time to concoct two killer fall lattes – you haven’t lived until you’ve tried the Caramel Pecan one.

The Real Marketplace – Pumpkin S’more Latte

(Wyncote)

Yeah, you read that right. The Real Marketplace has a latte with pumpkin, chocolate, and toasted marshmallows. Somehow, it’s even better than it sounds.

NASHVILLE

The Jam Coffeehouse – Pumpkin Spice Latte

(Wedgewood)

We love The Jam, and look how photogenic their PSL is! It tastes just as good, too.

Revelator – Espresso Tonic

(Hillsborough Village)

Ok so this one may not be your typical “fall drink” but it hasn’t gotten cold out quite yet, and Revelator’s Espresso Tonic is as tasty as it is refreshing. Featuring bitters, tonic, sparkling water, and lime, it’s basically a cocktail, but with coffee instead of liquor.

Atmalogy – Various Lattes

(Midtown)

Aside from the quintessential Pumpkin Spice syrup, Atmalogy also has Blueberry and Peanut Butter syrups for their lattes – any of these are a great call for the coming months.

Red Bicycle – Scary Spice Latte

(Woodbine, Germantown)

This latte is packed with flavors – Pumpkin Spice, cayenne, dark chocolate, and cinnamon. Combined with some classic halloween kitch in the title, this is everything we would want in a fall drink.

Tin Cup Coffee – Various Pumpkin Drinks

(Downtown)

Tin Cup has the pumpkin game on lock, and are in the process of developing their own syrups for the fall – you should see some house specialties coming soon!

SAN FRANCISCO

Most people move to San Francisco for the drastic seasonal change, right? Yeah, maybe not.

Our shops in the Bay Area don’t really change their menus all that much this time of year, since it’s pretty much just the summer with less fog.
