The second month of 2017 has already ended and we are over a week into March. That was fast, wasn't it? Well, it might have been, but this does not mean we did not see some amazing films. February saw the release of several hyped ventures such as Jolly LLB 2, The Ghazi Attack, Rangoon and The Lego Batman Movie. A few smaller, but interesting ventures also hit the theatres. As always, we bring you our list of hits and misses, which is inclusive of films that you absolutely cannot afford to miss and also those that you could probably skip.

Let us now take a look at what our users thought were the hits and misses for the month of February.

HITS
Jolly LLB 2

Does one need more reasons to watch a film that has Akshay Kumar in it? Maybe not. Jolly LLB 2 had everything one expected – a great narrative and brilliant performances. Plus, it was supremely entertaining!

Hind Ka Napak Ko Jawab MSG – Lion Heart
The fourth installment in the MSG series turned out to be a blockbuster, just like the other three films in the series.

The Lego Batman Movie

If there is one word to describe this movie, it has to be kickass! The Lego Batman Movie's killer references and stunning graphics managed to win the audience over.

The Ghazi Attack

The Rana Daggubati and Kay Kay Menon starrer, The Ghazi Attack, won rave reviews for its well-executed plot. It was also Om Puri's last screen appearance, and one worthy of that mark.

John Wick 2
This sequel to the 2014 film, John Wick, was action-packed. Definitely, a crowd-pleaser.

Moonlight
Moonlight, the surprise Best Picture Winner at the Oscars, had our users completely engaged till the end.

The Space Between Us
The Space Between Us is the story of a a young man who is raised in Mars. The film impressed the audience with its unique concept.

Rangoon
This Vishal Bhardwaj film came as a surprise. It was completely different from the kind of Bollywood flicks everyone is used to.

Lion
The Dev Patel and Sunny Pawar starrer, Lion, is based on a true story. It made every individual walk out of the theatre with warmth in their hearts.

In Regional Cinema:
We also had regional ventures that did wonders. Here are a few: S III (Telugu), Nenu Local (Telugu), Bogan (Tamil), SI III (Tamil), Baghtos Kay Mujra Kar (Marathi), Fugay (Marathi), Dhyanimani (Marathi), Style Raja (Kannada), Mahi NRI (Punjabi), Duniyadari (Gujarati), 61 Garpar Lane (Bengali) and Swayam (Malayalam).

MISSES
Some films like Tomake Chai (Bengali), Rings (English) and Rum (Tamil), missed by a tiny margin and did not do as well as the others.

Well, that was all for February. Let's hope March is even better. See you then!
