‘Once bitten, twice shy,’ is a quote most of us live by. Especially when it comes to love and relationships. If we are hurt or heartbroken, it takes a lot for us to fall in love again. But the same does not hold true for non-regular people, i.e. celebrities. Celebrity relationships are fake, their marriages are always short-lived – these are general assumptions regular people make about them. Well, what we do know is that celebrities do tend to end marriages that have gone sour, rather than be stuck in them forever. Karan Singh Grover
KSG’s first two marriages were highly publicized before his third wedding to Bipasha Basu. His first marriage to Shraddha Nigam lasted only 10 months, while his second to Jennifer Winget went on for two years. However, Bips and he look very much in love, and we hope that they last.
Neelima Azeem
Neelima's first husband was Shahid Kapoor's biological father Pankaj Kapur. After the couple separated, she married Rajesh Khattar. After their divorce, Neelima Azeem later got married to Ustad Raja Ali Khan. They, too, are now divorced.
Kishore Kumar
Kishore Kumar has had four wives, with two divorces. He separated from his first wife, Ruma Ghosh, for Madhubala and was married to her till Madhubala died in 1969. He later married Yogeeta Bali, a relationship which lasted for two years. His last wife, Leena Chandavarkar, stayed with him until his death.
Kabir Bedi
Like Kishore Kumar, Kabir Bedi has also married four times. His first wife, Protima, was the mother of Pooja Bedi. His second wife was a British-born fashion designer Susan Humphreys. His third wife, Nikki Bedi, too, is British-born. His marriage to Parveen Dusanj last year makes it his fourth marriage.
Kamal Hassan
While the Vishwaroopam actor has been married only twice – first to classical dancer Vani Ganapathy and then to Bollywood actress Sarika – he was in a live-in relationship with former actress Gautami Tadimalla for over a decade. In fact, they parted ways only last year.
Sanjay Dutt
While many remember Dutt’s previous marriage to Rhea Pillai, many have forgotten that that was, in fact, his second marriage. The actor was previously married to actress Richa Sharma, who passed away due to a brain tumor. His third marriage was to his current wife Manyata.
Siddharth Roy Kapur
Did you know that Vidya Balan’s producer husband has been married twice before? His first marriage was to childhood sweetheart Aarti Bajaj and the second one was to TV producer Kavita. Hopefully, the third time is his last.
