The 50th Anniversary Edition of SEMA

BlackVue exhibited at the SEMA Show 2016 in Las Vegas. For the 50th anniversary edition of the iconic show, we had a blast!

We were there to demonstrate our Cloud-connected dashcam offering for individuals and businesses. Doing so, we met with great people, potential buyers and BlackVue users who came to this unique show from all corners of the USA –according to SEMA, the 2016 edition drew in more than 60,000 domestic and international buyers! For us the response was amazing, and we cannot wait to see what 2017 brings.

Cloud-connected Dashcams and Supercars

This year, we also sponsored great cars that had our BlackVue dashboard cameras installed and streaming live to the Cloud. There was of course the Tesla model S in the BlackVue booth, courtesy of Unplugged Performance, but also a Miata and Infiniti Q50 at the Rays booth, a Widebody Vlene FR-S at the Sprintex Superchargers booth, GReddy’s R32 GT-R and let’s not forget Bill Garrison’s incredible Ford F-150 Police truck. The Dashcam Store from Texas also outfitted two of the Truck Hero display vehicles with BlackVue dual-channel dash cameras. Thanks to all who cooperated with us for this event. VIP Testimonial

Last, but not least, we met with Formula Drift driver Ken Gushi for an interview. He shared his personal overall experience using BlackVue, including an interesting anecdote. Since Ken started using a BlackVue back in April, he equipped all his vehicles with the Cloud-connected dual-channel models (DR650GW-2CH and DR650S-2CH). His first BlackVue even captured some video that went viral when he posted it to his Instagram. In it, you can see a driver rushing in the emergency lane past Gushi’s car and smashing his side-mirror on the way. Ken was kind enough to send us the original footage for inclusion in this video. Thanks to him and the GReddy team for their time and involvement!
