SAN FRANCISCO – May 10, 2016 – Cardpool, a leading gift card exchange marketplace, and Compassion International (Compassion), a Christian child development organization, today announced Compassion’s launch of CardFunder®, a new program that enables consumers to donate unspent gift cards to Compassion.
CardFunder highlights the gift card exchange marketplace as a unique philanthropic tool for those with unused gift cards. According to a December 2015 Exchange Survey* from Cardpool parent company, Blackhawk Network, 51 percent of consumers surveyed have unused gift cards.
