Emmerdale Robron Wedding update:

Emmerdale actor Danny Miller has revealed that he wants Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden to have a low key wedding, in order to stick with Aaron’s character. As fans of the show will know, Aaron couldn’t be less keen on being the centre of attention so the chances of him feeling comfortable in a massive, all singing, all dancing wedding ceremony would be pretty low.

A while back, Iain MacLeod confirmed that the occasion would be very much in keeping with the characters of Robert and Aaron, with the episode concentrating on raw emotion, honesty and a little bit of Dingle craziness.

Danny appears to share this vision – and would even go a step further, if it weren’t for it creating a lack of drama on screen. He told Inside Soap’s 2016 Yearbook: ‘I think the more low-key the better for Aaron because he’s never been one for attention. The ideal thing would be him and Robert just nipping off and getting married somewhere on their own – but I guess that’s not very dramatic to watch.’

The wedding episode has yet to have a date confirmed although fans are currently expecting to see it unfold during the early months of next year
