Results are in from the 2019 San Diego Challenge, and Banfi wines took home 10 medals.
Highlighting Banfi’s success at the competition was BelnerO, Banfi Chianti Superiore, and Banfi Chianti Classico Riserva, all of which earned Platinum medals and deemed Best In Class.
Led by competition director Robert Whitley and chief judge Michael Franz, the judging panel consisted of top wine critics, journalists, sommeliers, winemakers, and other professionals in the wine industry.
BelnerO scored 94 points and named “Best of Tuscany.” Banfi Chianti Classico Riserva and Banfi Chianti Superiore earned identical 94-point scores and were both named “Best Chianti.”
