The Gong Show. Now just a memory. Until today. This new “Gong Show” turns out to mean success.
The wonderful staff at the Fairfax Hospital radiation clinic have a tradition that when a patient finishes their radiation treatment, everyone celebrates with the patient hitting the ceremonial gong that hangs in the waiting room. The staff and waiting patients then clap and cheer.
Today it was my turn.
My sister-in-law Luanne was on hand with her cell phone to video the occasion. One small gong turns out to go a long, long way. Thanks be to God.
