I have installed this radio for about half a year now and am actually very satisfied with it.
What did I have before? A VW RCD210 - radio, CDs and MP3s from CDs. And a senseless filing underneath that collected dust.
What didn't I have that I missed? Bluetooth, navigation system, rear view camera.
After the first defective radio that could be returned without any problems, the second device went really well.
The big advantage is really Android on the device - here Maps or google Maps, Outlook, etc. - and also the app of my favorite web radio station. Android 8 will probably have apps available long enough.
The installation is not bad, because the rear view camera was a lot of effort, so if you just want to change the radio, that was maybe 15 minutes of work for me.

What is wrong with me or not great?
A reasonable Bluetooth remote control for my cell phone. I got used to not selecting the contact persons from the list of names (of all names in the phone book, not sortable, not accessible, but only accessible by "scrolling"), but from the caller list. Then that is "sufficient". It would be nicer, of course, if the manufacturer improved the app because it can only be replaced with more effort (CustomROM). The improvement of the app was immediately denied when it was supported that this is done - too bad. But, I could have bought accessories - hey, wasn't the radio expensive enough?
The radio occasionally reboots when the engine is started. The reversing camera is there after about 10 seconds, the "rest" then takes a minute.
The radio is not programmed for sub-zero temperatures - according to the display, it has 6550.0 degrees on the display. Otherwise there is no negative impact, but you can see the quality of the "software" in such things quite well ...

The hardware buttons can be assigned in a hidden menu to a limited extent - I occasionally miss other hardware buttons, but I'm used to it.
The VW radio increased or decreased the volume depending on the speed, which was very pleasant. Unfortunately, this does not do this.
The display mirrors, but I only suffer from it once a month. The sun has to shine at the right angle so that you can't see anything. Otherwise it is bright enough and easy to read. For the night, it regulates the brightness to a definable level with the light switch, otherwise the display can also be switched off by touch, which is pleasant for longer journeys at night.
The radio reception did not need any special stuff for me, I have a simple antenna (not a double one), plugged in and just as good as with the old radio. I don't use DAB.
And Navi? So, when searching for a route, my Galaxy S9 is faster than this device. But the speed is fine.
Overall a good decision, not cheap, but worth the money.
