Meet Charlie Fitzgerald, MBA
Charlie, is based in Las Vegas Nevada, where he has been a resident for nearly 25 years, working for the past 20 years in banking and finance representing conventional/conforming, Alt-A/sub-prime, commercial and private money loan clients throughout the United States. Charlie has personally originated in excess of 2 billion dollars in loan volume and has been recognized numerous times as a Top 100 Originator in the industry.
Charlie prides himself on delivering the highest quality of client experience he possibly can. Always making himself available whenever he can to meet the needs of his clients. Charlie is often fond of saying that, “Saturday and Sunday are just two more days that end in ‘y’ to me. If my client needs me then, I am there for them on the weekends too.”
Charlie is a consummate lending industry professional with 100’s of speaking engagements to his credit, and he loves to educate the masses to the best of his ability. Often referred to as the “Truth Meter”, Charlie has a unique ability to just “tell it like it is” and not sugar coat things. His clients have found that to be a very welcome attribute when working with Charlie and those that meet him for the first time find it refreshing as well. Charlie has published articles in several lending industry magazines including Scotsman Guide, Realty 411, Tomorrow’s Mortgage Executive, Alternative Lending Magazine and others.
For Charlie, the relationship with his lending clients is the most important aspect of the overall process. “The intent is never to get so focused on the dollars, that you lose sight of the people on the other side of the table”, says Charlie. “My job is to be their solution to their needs. I take that job very seriously and failure is not an option that I ever consider.” At the same time, Charlie believes it is responsible to be honest and upfront about a loan not being available on terms that a borrower might be seeking as well.
Charlie attended San Diego State University, majoring in Political Science/Pre-law; Acton Liberty University – Business Administration (MBA); Kaplan University – Legal Studies and Policy Administration (BS) and a vast number of Banking, Finance, Securities, Legal and Lending educational programs over his 20 + career in the industry. Charlie served proudly in the USAF as a Law Enforcement Officer and was assigned to the Inspector General of the Air Force Special Operations Division as an Administrative Management Specialist.
Charlie is active in his community serving as a Neighborhood Watch Coordinator for the community in which he lives as well as a member of his HOA Master Association Safety Committee. Charlie is also an NRA Instructor and trains in the areas of Defensive Handgun; Home Defense; Personal Protection Outside the Home and other NRA approved courses.
