Government of West Bengal has came up with new online web portal for Ration Cards PDS servcies etc. West Bengal Public Distribution System has hosted its new website at wbpds.gov.in. This web portal was an initiative for providing Transparency for PDS system functioning with public. It brings online updated information, search for ration cards, News, data.
About West Bengal PDS Ration card scheme:
To avail minimum food for every citizen in Bengal state government has started civil supplies and PDS agencies. These will provide subsidized rate food grains, household eatable items for BPL people. Applications from people are registered and they are given WB Digital ration cards after verification. Every ration card has included all the family members with their UID aadhar details. Ration card will have a unique 14 digit number and can be authenticated any where in India.

How to Search for West Bengal Ration Card in wbpds.gov.in?
Visit wbpds.gov.in website and select option named “Search Your Digital Ration card Details link”.
A form for searching with different options appear in there. Enter district name, Sub-division name, Block, FPS, Ration card category.
Finally Enter the name of ration card holder. Select Search Button and your ration card details are appeared there.
Search for FPS Ration Wholesaler details online:
For searching FPS details visitors need to select DDPS or DR first. Then you have to choose DCFS or JD name, SCFS or RO name from list.
Go with selecting Block Office and Item Name below. Select Display fps button to view in online and select export to Excel sheet to download the list in excel spreadsheet.
