In a continued commitment to offering Christian schools the best in online curriculum, Alpha Omega Publications is introducing four new courses for Ignitia, as well as a brand new Blended Learning Library for Christian educators.

The Blended Learning Library provides teachers with a collection of more than 250 direct instruction videos that help students gain a conceptual understanding of key math skills. Currently, the library contains a variety of resources for Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry students. The videos offer step-by-step guidance applicable in group or individual settings, as well as blended learning environments and flipped classrooms.

In addition to the valuable video resources, AOP is releasing four new one-semester courses for Ignitia.

Middle School Courses

Career Explorations 1 gives students an introductory look at four service-related career fields, including health science, hospitality and tourism, human services, and consumer services.

Career Explorations 2 helps students gauge their interest in five technology-related career fields, including information technology, information technology support and services, network systems, STEM, and agriculture, food and natural resources.

High School Courses

Careers in Allied Health is a CTE elective that explores the role of allied health care professionals in the overall health care environment.

ACT Test Prep provides students with an orientation to the exam and covers the essential components found in all current ACT prep materials.

With the addition of these new courses, AOP now offers over 15 Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. Reaching beyond core academics, these electives equip students with real-world skills that set them apart in the workforce as they provide students with an understanding of business practices, technology, and career opportunities in today’s workplace.
