My journey into quilting began 40 years ago when I wanted to make a quilt for my young daughter. I had been making crafts and sewing clothing for many years and felt confident and excited about this new path. This project led me to seek out a new quilt guild in my city and I joined them actively participating in workshops, attending conferences, and as a member of the board.
