Good Morning!

Today we are celebrating the release of twelve sets of dies that coordinate with some of our stamp sets. We revealed the dies yesterday. if you missed the post, you may take a look at it here. We are also adding another new product to our store, Antique Trims. They are beautiful frames and embellishments made out of embossed foil.

Our brand new design team are participating in the celebration, so hop along with us and win some prizes!

Jen and I made some cards using the dies,  so let’s go ahead and start with them :)

Floral images from Persian Motifs were stamped in black ink, then colored with Copic markers (leaving some of the image uncolored).  Next, they were die cut and mounted to a white card base, with a combination of both flat and 3D adhesive.  To finish off the card, a sentiment (from Birthday Greetings) was embossed in white onto a strip of black cardstock, and adhered with foam tape.

This card features a gorgeous butterfly from Bejeweled, which was stamped, die cut, and colored in with Copic markers.  To make the image sparkle, Wink of Stella (in clear glitter) was applied to the butterfly.  Patterned paper with a sentiment from Sketchy Cities America was then adhered at an angle onto a white card base.  A black strip of cardstock helps to separate the pattern from the plain cardstock.  The butterfly was then adhered to the card with foam tape.

The dies for Doodle Blooms were used to cut blue glittery cardstock, which were then applied to a teal card base.  Next, the “hello” sentiment from Super Script was embossed onto the same cardstock then die cut.  To give it some dimension, it was adhered to the card with foam tape.  A bit of white crochet thread finishes the card!

Here, the “hello” sentiment was stamped with a dark pink ink, then die cut.  Next, it was cut in half and adhered directly to two panels of white cardstock.  “You” was stamped next to the “hello” to finish the sentiment.  Patterned paper was then applied between the two panels directly onto the card base, and another pattern along the bottom panel.  Both panels were adhered to the card with foam tape.

On this card, a yellow water color backdrop was used to highlight the beautiful peonies and the large ‘hello’. The outline ‘hello’ from Halftone Hello was colored with three shades of Copic markers. The flowers and leaves were left uncolored, as water color background and white outline images work perfectly wee together.

The Roses from Vintage Roses were stamped using generation stamping technique. White leaves were die cut using the Doodle Blooms die set. The sentiment was embossed in gold and raised with foam tape. A bit of gold splatter to the background add interest to the otherwise stark white card base.

The flowers and leaves are from Lacy Scrolls set, and are die cute with the matching Lacy Scrolls dies. The sentiments from Sentiments & Quotes sets were first stamped on the gray paper before adhereing the frame. The frame is a new addition to our collection, and is called Timeless Frame.

As you may have noticed, we love making quick and simple cards, and this one is as simple as they get! The flowers and swirls from Hennah Elements were stamped and embossed in gold on water color paper. A cream colored card strip was used for the sentiment which was embossed in white.

Another quick and simple design. Here, once again the flowers (Vintage Flowers) were stamped using the generation stamping technique. The leaf dies from the Vintage Flowers die set were used to die cut leaves from silver glitter paper. A white sentient strip complements the white edges of the flowers.

Last but not least, a combination of gold embossing and water color (a current favorite!). The flowers are from Floral Motifs and the dies are from the coordinating die set. A gold embossed sentiment on a raised strip and a bit of gold splatter bring the elements together on this card.
