WVS (pronounced ‘waves’) is a new music imprint designed to serve as a platform for Australia’s new wave of hip-hop creatives.
Led by the creative brains behind the project – producer/artist/writer and musician Miracle, the label has been born on an attitude of DIY fostered deep inside a studio hub in the inner-western Sydney suburb of Alexandria. WVS aims to shine a much-needed spotlight on a new generation of Australian talent creating forward thinking hip-hop and alternative RnB, with the goal of broadening the collective horizons of these talented local artists far beyond Australian shores.
WVS will also showcase the strength of multi-cultural diverse talent residing in Australia today, starting with debut artist signings Brisbane’s Travy P and mysterious 22-year old Moroccan-born Anfa Rose.
Anfa Rose, fresh off his April 2016 released ‘Debauched Mixtape’ (already over a million streams) teams up with Sydney studio don Dopamine to offer a glimpse into the world of WVS with a boundary pushing future soul banger, titled “T.I.W.H”.
