It’s been a while since I updated this blog of mine. I just had a stroke of inspiration to write today as I turn 39.
Its been a while. Life has been kind to me as of late, and for that I really am grateful. There are lots of struggle and good times during my long pause in blogging. Let’s see…. I can cite some so this entry can be beefy. I know not a lot of people read this shit but here we go.
Okay first thing’s first. What am I currently doing? in terms of career?
Prior to my last entry to this blog. I’ve been to 2 different companies. After my stint to AS White Global (naks! Backlink!) I got the chance to work for a year on a real estate company, I handled their 3 company websites. The team was great but sadly, my stay didn’t last for long and the company had a different trajectory and decided to dissolve the team I am with. Luckily, they gave us compensation enough to last for a few months. I decided to take a break for 2 months since I have been working non-stop for 5 straight years since 2017. I had to get my bearings in order and look back and see where am I and where do I go next. and then in July 2022. after a lengthy month of job hunting. I finally landed my ass to Disrupt Digital (naks backlink again!) which I am currently working. The workload might be a lot than before but the team I am currently in is something of a dream team just to describe it best. and YES, THE SALARY IS GOOD. THERE I’VE SAID IT LOL
Next Stop: What am I currently doing in my free time
Nothing much. random things I guess, whatever comes to mind. Since the pandemic hit, I had to think of something in order to kill the boredom
Been hitting some triple A games over the course of pandemic. Elden Ring is one of the rage enducing games I played in a long time. Unlocking all of the achievements to that game is somewhat a bragging rights. (Yes that includes SOLOING Malena. Blade of Miquela on hours on end), That game somewhat gave me the video game fatigue I’ve been experiencing to this very day of writing this blog entry. I need to recover from that in order for me to work on upcoming games this year.
Since we are talking about video games, A made a few upgrades to my PC Rig. Changed the All in One Liquid to ASUS ROG Ryujin II and upgraded my GPU from Gigabyte RTX 2070S Gaming OC 8gb to ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4070 Ti. Also changed my keyboard to Keychron K4 V2 RGB (since I gave my Keychron K4 V2 White LED to my sister)
Aside from playing video games. I am still into music. been on and off practicing my guitar skills from time to time playing a tune. Making life easier to bear. food for the soul indeed.
As for other aspect of my life? Let’s seeeeee
Oh yeah lovelife. Still zero I guess, but working on it. hopefully this year is where I finally found someone to love (cue somebody to love by Queen)
The last romantic relationship was back in 2017. Stupid me, decided to break up with my then girlfriend over stupid things. (wanna slap my younger self for that) Good thing she is happily married and have a family of her own. Happy for her. Seeing her dreams coming true.
I think thats the gist of what’s happening to my life lately.
Being close to the big 40 is kinda surreal. its been a lifetime. I may not like growing old, but that’s just life. we have to face it with a smile and growing old is a privilage denied to many. We have to be thankful for everyday we wake up and take the challenges of life.
I hope and wish that I can comeback fully in writing blogs. this platform might be getting behind the times, but this is the one of the best outlet where I can express my brainfarts from time to time.
Here’s to me hitting the level 39 of my life. more battles to come and insourmountable challenges to conquer!
