Something about the colder weather makes me want to never leave my house and curl up with book after book… and some hot chocolate! I figured I can’t be alone in feeling this way, so I thought I would share some of my favorite cozy winter reads. A few of these have been mentioned before, but they are all PERFECT for cuddling up with blankets and spending the day getting lost in another world.

Cozy Winter Reads

I am pretty sure most of my book lists mention at least one Colleen Hoover book. I can’t help it. I have yet to read a book of hers I did not love. Recently she released Too Late which I had no idea was coming out. I snagged it on Amazon and read it in two days. I probably would have read it in one if I didn’t have tons of work. While we are on the Colleen Hoover subject I can’t not talk about Maybe Someday. It came out a while ago but it’s really great and not your typical romance. Also her novella series Never Never (3 books!!!) is fantastic. Especially if you’re like me and you never want her books to end.

While we are talking about 3 book series I have another to mention, actually two others to mention. The first is That Boy series. This book series follows a girl through dating, marriage and a baby with “That Boy”. The other one is Queen of Babble. I had read a ton of Meg Cabot books, but until this summer I had not read the Queen of Babble series. It is really cute and fun and the perfect trilogy.

The Best of Us was seriously one of my favorite reads of the past year. I really love books about groups of friends and things that happen as we get older.

I remember reading If I Stay right before the movie came out a few years ago and sobbing. Literally sobbing on my couch as I finished it. If you haven’t read the book or seen the movie I suggest doing both!

I am a huge fan of Emily Giffin books, and my all time favorite is Love The One You’re With. This is a great book to read anytime, but if you’ve never read it there’s no better time than the present. Because if you think your life is great and you run into the one that got away does that change things?

Lastly, Always Something There To Remind Me is a great story of moving forward and how sometimes you need to go back to go forward.

I would love to know if you have any cozy winter reads suggestions for me! Leave them in the comments!
