The Yale University School of Nursing (www.nursing.yale.edu) invites applications from (and nominations of) highly qualified candidates for the position of Associate Dean for Global Health. Reporting directly to the Dean, the Associate Dean will provide senior level administration to the School’s growing global health initiatives that encompass educational, research, and leadership efforts in a number of countries.

The Associate Dean for Global Health will represent the school at meetings and events in relationship to global health initiatives. A member of the School’s senior administrative group, the Associate Dean will work closely to assure coordinated leadership of the School.

The School has recently undergone a comprehensive strategic planning process resulting in the adoption of a new organizational structure, with an Executive Associate Dean/Deputy Dean and two Division Chairs to oversee all academic activities. An Associate Dean for Finance and Administration will oversee the School’s financial and administrative operations as part of the leadership team. A third Associate Dean will oversee global health initiatives.

The successful candidate will be doctorally prepared, eligible for tenured appointment at the rank of Professor, have a history of experience in graduate education, progressive and significant leadership in academic administration, and a history of success in nursing scholarship.
